Could you please share the source of information, to validate your comment/perception – ‘Little surprised that most railway officials have palatial houses and luxury cars at their disposal.’

I am curious to get the data and see what is the % of Tatal Railway Officer who are having palatial houses and luxury Cars. Regarding, Railways providing facilities to its Officers – agree to some extent Officers get good facilities, but if you are suggesting that on personal level these max number of officials have palatial houses and luxury cars then surely I am interested on your source of data.

We are into a great rat race of snatching comforts, success love and respect .We are all the role players for a particular action for time being. We never think of the future effects for a particular action. Always the bigger picture is missing in our minds, so we are all responsible to make a coward nation.

I first read this as “skill manukhanna.com” and as I go reading the content I find something dissimilar. Come on Manu, there is lot more beautiful stuff waiting for your conversion into impeccable style of English writing. Manu let me make it clear, you were the strength behind us not only in Gachibowli, and it is beyond and doesn’t have boundaries. It is not of boasting something; I can put this in bullets.
• Smart guy of DLF, Sajid had been to Europe and going great guns
• Ankur in pink city (if I am not wrong)
• Siddarth (now he is the Deccan charger)
• Me back in MSat and many more I don’t have exact details.
Don’t you agree? Yes, of course all of us.

Hi Manu,

I have been using ICICI net banking since 2-3 years now. I never used HDFC Net Banking so cannot comment on its user friendly aspect.

As far as I have understood from using ICICI Net Banking is that at the very beginning you may get some issues but its smooth sailing in future. If there are so many things involved: Grid, Transaction password session timeouts etc. they are for your safety.

Anyways I believe you will sail smooth in future…

I have lately changed my mind chasing auto rickshaws after your advice “Unka kuch naheen jayega aur hamara kuch naheen bachega (they won’t loose anything and we will be left with nothing)”. It was a good advice that prevented my confrontations with these ugly guys a number of times. How come you loose these golden words?

Manu,

I agree with you as far as time is involved in government sector undertaking processes. I am sorry to see the delayed and improper state of affairs as far as PSU’s are concerned. Unlike you, my landline and internet connection both are from a major PSU. Everytime I face a problem I have to call 10 different people to fix things. My only motive to take this connection was to pay monthly charges to govenrment undertaking then paying it to a private operator. But I am sad to see the services.
Its just not telephone or internet, it’s same with the electricity board, banks and the list follows.

I know I am diverting from the topic, but that’s a very bitter relality when it comes to PSU’s.

Hi,

your frustration for the iPhone being cheaper in the US is not correctly explained. The reason iphone is discounted in the US is that you have to sign a 2-year service contract with AT&T at $30 per month for data. Note that $30 is for data only, not voice and the cheapest voice plan with it is $40, so if you have to sign a 2-year contract for $70/month, they better discount the phone.

i was in hyderabad in 1995 during my father’s visit to the state bank trng centre. i stayed for 2 nights and had the best mughlai biryani there. the place i dont remember now but it was close to char minar. that was a good experience.

True, the driving sense of motorists here is exceptionally bad. I have had my share of the unruly traffic in places like Ghaziabad and the by-lanes of Chandni Chowk, but Hyderabad seems to be way ahead! The authorities are trying to do away with the fancy number plates, but have they ever given a thought to keep a check on the prevalent rash driving ailing the city.

The worst part being that all that an entire honking exercise can mange to give the driver is an inch of lead on the road, and that too for merely a couple of seconds! Today, Hyderabad does not have the luxury to allow commuters to drive their way the highway speed. To me,this time-saving tactic on the part of the driver appears absolutely needless. It’s only adding to the woes of those driving with discipline and caution.

It’s only God mercy and wish that against all odds we manage to reach our homes unscratched!

Well, in SnagIT, choosing Mode –> Web Capture, and then View –> Single OneClick is required to capture a webpage. . This is why SnagIT is a pain, it requires four clicks, while the �Save As Image� extension I have posted about requires just one click. Choose Low, Medium, High, and Best for different image quality and size. On the contrary, in SnagIT, one must manually adjust DPI, color etc. to change image quality/size. Of course SnagIT is a paid software, while the SaveAsImage Firefox extension is free.
No, the SaveAsImage extension works only on Firefox, not IE. Actually you can still use this extension, install Firefox, then the IETAB extension, and of course the SaveAsImage extension. Then you can open IE as a tab in Firefox and use the extension. If you have Windows Vista, you should read this post http://manukhanna.com/vista/vista-sniping-tool-free/.
